One of my all-time favorite scripture passages is 2 Corinthians 5:21 which says, “For our sake He (God) made Him (Jesus) to be sin, who knew no sin, so that in Him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God.”

It’s been said that ‘God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.’ Thank God because none of us are truly qualified to carry out the mission that He has given us, to reach all nations, tribes, and tongues with the gospel message.

Well, it’s official, ‘Unreached4K’ is now an Incorporated NGO (Non-Government Organization) of Uganda.

On January 24th our team: Ed Young, Joe Nail, Jennifer Durling, and myself, headed to Uganda for 10 full days of ministry with Brother Stanley and his team at Cornerstone Baptist Church and Bembe Baptist Church.

First, I want to wish every one of you a very ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS’ and ‘THANK YOU’ so much for your ongoing support to ‘Unreached4K.’

We are deeply saddened to share with you the loss of one of our dear brothers in Christ and board member of ‘Unreached4K’, Brother Wayne Benge.

On July 7th, Gary and Connie Burkett, Ed Young, Jennifer Durling (our dear friend and nurse practitioner), and myself headed to Uganda for 2 full weeks of ministry.

Cornerstone Baptist Church is taking the gospel to Kibajjwe village and meeting physical needs as well by providing fresh water from a well that is fully electric.

I can honestly say that I was a little skeptical when we brought Brother Stanley on as our new ministry partner in December and I heard his plans concerning planting churches near and around Bombo, Uganda.

On December 16, 2022, after a lot of discussions about ministry and church planting, as well as a few Zoom meetings, ‘Unreached4K’ has officially brought Brother Stanley Kwagalana on board as our newest church planter in Bombo, Uganda.

On October 5th, Gary Burkett and myself began a long journey around the world to Bandung, Indonesia to minister with a longtime friend, Yoel Sukardi.

On July 7th, our team: Gary Burkett, Mickey Jones, Ed Young, and myself, headed back to Uganda for a two-week visit to Bombo as well as Tororo in the Eastern part of the country.

Thanks to your faithful donations, the Sambwe Community Church construction is now complete and Pastor Badiru and Sister Harriett are leading their small congregation in energetic worship, powerful preaching, biblical teaching, and making disciples who will soon go into the surrounding villages and plant other churches.

After eight months and two failed attempts, Joe Nail, Ed Young, and myself were finally able to travel to Uganda on January 27th for a 2-week visit with our brothers and sisters in Christ in Bombo.

We are excited to introduce you to the newest member of the Kateregga family, ‘Abundance.’ She was born Tuesday, November 23 to Karim and Brenda and is healthy and blessed. We are all so thankful to the Lord for a safe and healthy delivery, Praise the Lord!

We are so excited to share with you that we, ‘Unreached 4K,’ are ‘officially’ a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our board members met on Sunday, September 12th and unanimously approved our by-laws, mission statement, and corporation paperwork.

Pastor Karim and Brenda send their greetings from Bombo, Uganda. On June 20, Gary Burkett, Joe Nail, and myself were scheduled to leave for Uganda for a two-week visit, BUT, just two weeks prior to our departure, President Museveni announced a 42-day lockdown due to another wave of the pandemic.

The Bunyaga Community Church of Bombo, Uganda sends greetings in Jesus’ name. The Great Commission is found in Matthew 28:19-20 and is well known to every follower of Jesus around the world: “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you”.
