Fall 2024 Newsletter
One of my all-time favorite scripture passages is 2 Corinthians 5:21 which says, “For our sake He (God) made Him (Jesus) to be sin, who knew no sin, so that in Him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God.” According to John MacArthur, this is just 15 words in the Greek New Testament which reads, ‘τὸν μὴ γνόντα ἁμαρτίαν ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν ἁμαρτίαν ἐποίησεν, ἵνα ἡμεῖς γενώμεθα δικαιοσύνη θεοῦ ἐν αὐτῷ.’ He explains the passage this way: He, God, made Jesus to be sin, only in one sense...He treated Him as if He had committed every sin ever committed by everyone who would believe, though in fact, He never committed any of them. Hanging on the cross, He was holy, harmless, and undefiled. Hanging on the cross He was a spotless lamb. He was never for a split second a sinner. He is holy God on the cross. But God is treating Him as if He lived my life. God punished Jesus for my sin and then turns around and treats me like I lived His life. That’s the great doctrine of ‘SUBSTITUTION.’ That’s the heart of the gospel. JESUS TOOK OUR PLACE because we were all without hope, dead in our sins, and deserving of eternal separation from a Holy and Righteous God. No other religion in all of history has ever even considered a god who would come to rescue and redeem us, but because of love, that’s exactly what our God did. What an amazing love indeed!
Uganda Mission Update Ndejje
After nearly 2 months of construction, ‘New Life Baptist Church’ Uganda is now finished, other than a second coat of paint and trim. A BIG thank you to Pastor Chuck Robinson at ‘New Life Baptist Church’ Danville, KY for sponsoring this undertaking. The village of Ndejje is considered a Muslim village yet there are many ‘born again’ believers who were just waiting for a place of worship where they could fellowship with other believers and serve the Lord Jesus. Pastor Badru and Sister Harriet, with the help of our other pastors and leaders, are seeking to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire village of Ndejje. Luke 19:10 says that “the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” and that’s our goal as well in this little village in Uganda...to seek the lost and lead them to the Savior.

‘New Life Baptist Church’ Uganda focuses on learning and knowing the word of God…that’s how we make disciples.
Uganda Mission Update Kibajjwe
August 26-29, we were able to send 5 of our pastors/leaders to Tororo for a 4-day training session sponsored by ‘Uganda Baptist Seminary.’ Pastor Geoffrey and his team had classes in ‘Bible Interpretation,’ ‘Preaching,’ ‘Baptist Basics,’ ‘Marriage and Family,’ ‘Pastoral Leadership,’ and ‘Apologetics.’ They all returned excited and ready to preach and teach all that they have learned. Also, the Skills Trade Center behind ‘Cornerstone Baptist Church’ is training church members and villagers in hair braiding/hair care as well as tailoring (sewing) to assist them in becoming self-sufficient. One of our future goals is to open a tailoring center in Bombo Town to provide many jobs and minister to the village in Jesus’ name.
Uganda Mission Update Bembe
Pastor Charles Katongole is leading ‘Bembe Baptist Church’ to make disciples through powerful weekly sermons, weekly bible study classes, outreach and evangelism events, and a very strong children’s ministry thanks to sister Fatuma. Brother Julius has been helping Pastor Charles for about a year now by preaching Sunday sermons when Charles is at Kibajjwe as well as leading weekly bible studies, and now, he will be ordained next month to become the pastor of ‘Cornerstone Baptist Church’ so that Pastor Geoffrey can take the role of ‘Unreached4K’ Uganda director / overseer. This will allow Geoffrey to focus his attention on training the pastors and leaders in preaching and leading Bible studies, planning special activities such as evangelism and outreach events, and overseeing all of our ‘Unreached4K’ ministries in and around Bombo, Uganda.

Ukraine Mission Update
Thanks to your donations, we continue to support Pastor Paul Dudka at Revival Baptist Church in Vizhnitsa, Ukraine through financial support and encouragement through scheduled Zoom meetings. Since the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, he has remained steadfast in ministry to his 5 churches, the hundreds of refugees fleeing the eastern part of the country, and the many widows who are left without a husband. Last month, we sent funds to help him purchase a battery backup inverter to supply power when the electricity goes out, which is a daily occurrence, and with winter coming quickly, they will need all the power they can get. More recently, he has taken a young woman and her children into his home because she was severely beaten by her husband. In recent years, he has been mistreating her because she is a believer and he is not. Now, Pastor Paul is meeting her needs for food, clothing, and permanent housing. If you would like to help, please contact us on our website.

Facebook Ad Mission Update
Each month we send the ‘Jesus Film’ or ‘Gospel Recordings,’ to an unreached people group around the world through Facebook Ads. At ‘Unreaced4K,’ we are taking advantage of SOCIAL MEDIA and using it as a tool to reach the unreached with the Good News of Jesus Christ
