August 2020 Newsletter
Pastor Karim, Brenda, Blessed, and Favored send their greetings in Jesus’ name. Good news, the country is slowly opening back up and the churches have a plan for re-gathering soon, amen. Thanks to your donations, we have been able to secure a beauty shop in Buyego so the wives of persecuted believers will be able to help support their families. Since the shop is scheduled to open on Monday, August 3rd, they have been working hard to get everything ready for their first customers. The men work hard in the fields growing crops but that is not enough to sustain them and their families. Our goal is to help our brothers and sisters in Christ to become self-sufficient, farming the land and running small businesses and not relying on continuous outside support. Also, because of your generosity, we were able to provide Pastor Karim with a new ‘Boda Boda’ (motorbike). He has been using one on loan from a ministry for the past couple of years, but it had to be returned by the end of July. You provided him with a brand new one (just $1,350) which will allow him to travel throughout Bombo Town to minister to his church members as well as the Nubians.
Though they are still unable to meet together at their church, Brenda is meeting with a small group of women every Tuesday while Pastor Karim is meeting with the men on Saturdays. They are presently leading them through the Discovery Bible Study and The Growing Disciple which teaches them about prayer, obedience, fellowship, God’s word, worship, witnessing, stewardship and more. It is vital to disciple the new believers as soon as possible because they may be tempted to reject their new faith and go back to Islam. For us in the West, few, if any of us have ever been rejected by our family, friends, community, or place of work because of our faith. But life is much different in a Muslim village where all of life focuses around the community (village).
Please continue to pray for Karim, Brenda, and their family as they faithfully minister among this unreached people group. Pray for the men and women who are being discipled to remain faithful to our Lord and Savior, to grow in their faith, and to take the gospel to their neighbors and village. Pray that the Holy Spirit of God will move mightily among the Nubians in Bombo and many will come to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Many of you were able to donate toward the new water well at the Bunyaga Church which is making a great impact on the village. Now, nearly half of the village is coming to the church to draw water every morning instead of traveling miles to the local mosque. Thank you.
Joe Nail and I meet with Pastor Karim every Friday at 12 noon (EST) through Zoom to discuss the ministry’s discipleship training, outreach, various needs, and prayer requests. Please feel free to join us on Zoom using the following - Meeting ID: 839 1729 0752, Passcode: Mile 21
UPCOMING PROJECTS: Bunyaga Church Sunday School Building, Dedication Celebration of Bunyaga Church, Funds for Sister Harriet to attend Bible College, more bibles and projectors, and a Primary Christian School in Bunyaga Village.

Unreached 4K is a ministry that is serving the Lord Jesus in 4 distinct ways; (1) Assisting the church in Bombo, Uganda by taking the Gospel to an unreached people group (Nubians), (2) Training 16 pastors in Yamaranguila, Honduras, (3) Supporting indigenous pastors in North India, and (4) sending the ‘Jesus Film’ around the world through Facebook Ads.
