Bombo, Uganda

“To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.” (1 Peter 5:1-4)

Pastor Geoffrey Mbabazi is our ‘Unreached4K’ Uganda director/coordinator who oversees all of the ministry and operations in our 3 churches near Bombo and now our newest church in Pachwa near Hoima, Uganda. He is a graduate from Uganda Baptist Seminary and leads our church pastors and leaders in preaching and teaching class, proper hermeneutics and bible study, evangelism and outreach, and counseling and pastoral care. Our newest church, Cornerstone Pachwa near Hoima, is now complete thanks to Mount Pleasant Church and many others who purchased chairs, Bibles, and electricity. Thank you so much for your continued donations to support the spread of the Gospel in Uganda.

Our newest church plant is in Pachwa, a village near Hoima, Uganda. Within a couple of months, hundreds of people have decided to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior. There are few, if any churches in that area and much of it is controlled by the Basaka Cult, we are desperate to get the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them. Thanks to Mount Pleasant Church in Kentucky, and many other donors, the church building is now complete.

Though the war is still going on, Pastor Paul is carrying out ministry every day; caring for orphans and widows by providing food, clothing, shelter, and the Gospel, leading Bible studies for young people and teens in the mountains, sharing the gospel through social media, pastoring his home church ‘Revival Baptist Church,’ and holding ‘Kiddo Camps’ during the summer months. On July 17th Brother Joe and I traveled to Ukraine to assist Pastor Paul with 2 of his week long camps. In the mountains of Shepit, we had a total of 113 children and teens for sports activities, craft time, Bible study, and physical fitness. Since most of the young people were from Eastern Orthodox backgrounds, they had little knowledge of the Bible or the Gospel so we had 5 Bible lessons taking them from Creation to Christ. The Gospel seeds were planted and we pray that many will come to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior. The second week, we held the camp at Revival Baptist Church and had 101 children and young people attend. Thanks to the help of many adults and college students, both camps were a huge success. We were truly blessed to be a small part of what God is doing in this war-torn country. Please continue to pray for Pastor Paul and his family as well as his ministry to reach the nation of Ukraine with the Gospel. Also, please pray that this war would come to an end soon.

After 6 years of sending the ‘Jesus Film’ to various unreached people groups around the world, we are now planning on sending shorter videos (since people in other countries pay for the minutes on their phones) such as ‘Indigitube’ and ‘Global Recordings.’ These short videos present the gospel message in their own language and will hold their attention, all the while presenting them with the Gospel message.

‘Reaching the Unreached, One Tribe at a Time’

Unreached 4K’s purpose is to support local churches and ministries among the most marginalized people groups in our world by meeting physical as well as spiritual needs. This purpose is accomplished by making mature disciples, establishing healthy Christian churches, and training local church leaders among unreached people groups of the world. Our overall mission is to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ to these people groups through supporting indigenous church planters and leaders, providing vocational training and job initiatives, as well as meeting the physical and educational needs of the community. We also advance the Gospel to unreached people groups through social media and ongoing internet conversations.

  • How to Follow Jesus.

If you would like to know how to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior, watch as Paul Washer explains the Gospel.

  • Read God's word.

The most important spiritual discipline for the follower of Jesus, according to Donald Whitney, is reading God’s word daily.

  • Daily Prayer

It is vital for the follower of Jesus to have a daily time of prayer praising God, confessing sin, thanking Him, and praying for others.
