October 2020 Newsletter
Pastor Karim and the Bunyaga Church send their greetings in Jesus’ name. President Museveni recently gave the ‘okay’ for the churches in Uganda to open, though with many restrictions. This was cause for a BIG celebration on Saturday, October 3rd in which the entire Bunyaga village was invited…a Muslim village invited to the dedication celebration of a Christian church? We sent funds for another case of bibles, a piano, a PA system so that everyone could hear, and lots of food. The celebration was attended by many and even the Village Imam, Ishmael, attended. There was singing, dancing, praying, and of course the Gospel of Jesus Christ was proclaimed for all to hear. Thanks to your donations, the village of Bunyaga was blessed with food and fun, in Jesus’ name.
Another BIG event that preceded the Bunyaga Church dedication was a day of public baptisms. Saturday, September 26th, fifteen former Muslims as well as many following the tribal beliefs of Uganda, were publicly baptized at the Bunyaga Church in the new baptismal pool, that was purchased through your donations. The photo on the left shows Sister Harriet baptizing a young lady that she brought to Christ through their women’s discipleship group. Harriet is a faithful worker in the church and plans to attend bible college to better equip her to minister the Gospel. The photo on the right is John who recently came to Christ after many discussions with Pastor Karim. His father and grand-father were village witch doctors who had hopes of passing the family trade on to John, but Jesus had other plans. John accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and wanted to be baptized immediately so he could start ministering to family and friends. Please pray for those fifteen who were baptized because many will be pressured to return to Islam or their traditional beliefs.
Thanks to your donations, the latest project has begun. Pastor Karim has a desire to help the new believers become self-supportive especially since most of them will be starting their new lives in Christ separated from their family and village. A new brick building will be built next to the Bunyaga Church which will house a room for teaching Sunday school classes and discipleship groups / outreach training (Meeting at the Well) as well as a room for office space and storage. This building will also be used for training new believers trade skills such as carpentry, stitching (sewing), masonry, cooking and more.
To the left is a list of the vocational trades that Pastor Karim is hoping to teach his people once the building is complete. On the right is the budget for the new building, don’t panic, it’s in shillings not US dollars. The total cost of the brick building is $2,438.00 and the good news, you have already donated more than enough to cover the cost of the complete project…Praise the Lord.
Thank you all so, so much for your ongoing support to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Bombo, Uganda

UPCOMING PROJECTS: Two big dreams of Pastor Karim: First, purchase 2 Acres of land in the Bunyaga Village so that several families in the church will be able to become self-supportive by growing their own crops for food as well as cash crops to sell. Second, a primary Christian school so that local village children will be able to get an education learning about Jesus and His great love for them instead of going to the mosque for ‘madrasah’ training.
Unreached 4K is a ministry that is serving the Lord Jesus in 4 distinct ways; (1) Assisting the church in Bombo, Uganda by taking the Gospel to an unreached people group (Nubians), (2) Supporting 18 pastors in Yamaranguila, Honduras in their Theological Education through Chosen People International, (3) Supporting indigenous pastors in North India through New Creation Ministry, and (4) sending the ‘Jesus Film’ around the world through Facebook Ads.
