“My name will be great among the nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets…says the LORD Almighty.” Malachi 1:11

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It has been a wonderful two months so far with trips to India and Honduras. I often hear the slogan that ‘Education Pays’ and it is true, but unfortunately it doesn’t pay me enough as a teacher to do all that is needed for the Kingdom of God, that’s why your donations were so vital in taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.

On May 5th, I boarded a plane for New Delhi, India with a keyboard, donated from Dave Walker Ministries International, and two suit cases full of supplies; unlocked cell phones, audio bibles, projectors, a Canon Rebel Camera, as well as donated shoes and clothing for the pastors. Pastor Amit and his team has started over 1,000 house churches in the Northern states of India from Delhi to Punjab and are always in need of supplies and funds to carry out their work.

The next day, Daniel Forsythe, a dear brother from Georgia, met up with us and we quickly traveled north to Amritsar where we conducted a two day teen conference, support provided by Kanisa’s Call Ministry, and a one day pastor’s conference. The theme for the conferences was ‘Faith, Purity, and Joy’ so with sermons and bibles in hand, we spoke about the faith of Rahab the Harlot, the fall of King David, and the joy one finds in following Christ as well as much, much more. An amazing thing happened on the second day of the conference as I was speaking about Rahab the Harlot and the label from her past that she wore for so long, a Hindu by the name of Vikas from Delhi who traveled seven hours north to hear what we had to say gave his life to Christ. The day before I arrived, he was an alcoholic, a few days later he was baptized on a rooftop and is now following the one true God, Praise the Lord.

The following week, Daniel and I had the opportunity to be a part of showing the Jesus Film on the streets of Amritsar, handing out audio bibles to believers, visiting many house churches, and teaching theology at New Creation Bible College. The Lord truly blessed our two weeks with Pastor Amit and New Creation Ministries.

After two weeks of rest, I headed to Honduras with my dear friend Joe Nail and his daughter Tasha along with a team from Georgia, ‘To The Nations,’ led by Martha Grice. What seemed to be a lot of odd delays in getting to our destination in the mountains, was in reality the Lord Jesus protecting us from a shootout on the highway just ahead of us and a mudslide that destroyed several houses as well as blocked the roads to the hotel. After finally arriving in La Esperanza, we traveled to Yamaranguila to set up for our fourth annual Men’s Conference.

The following day we led about 62 men in a summary of a Navigator study entitled, ‘Every Man a Warrior,’ in which they learned about having a daily quiet time, walking with God, and being a true disciple of Christ. Each man was given a conference T-shirt, wristband, notebook and pen, as well as their favorite gift, an American ball cap. The conference concluded with a challenge to the men to nail their covenants to a cross which solidified their commitment to be a warrior for Christ.

On Sunday, we headed to Santa Cruz to meet old friends, celebrate their new church building, and worship our Lord and Savior with our brothers and sisters in Christ. The following week we led a Pastor Summit in which local pastors were encouraged to teach their people to be disciples who make disciples and serve in unity with one another. We concluded our trip by wiring the new church with LED lights, installing the breaker box with outlets and switches, as well as preparing for the new generator that would soon to arrive. Again, I want to thank you so much for your donation, support, and prayers for these two ministries which touched the lives of so many in India and Honduras.
