February 2020 Newsletter
Pastor Karim and the Buyego Church in Bombo, Uganda sends their greetings in Jesus’ name. Several projects are underway, thanks to your prayers and support. First, Taata Bruhan’s home is now complete. It sits right in the middle of a Muslim village and is a great testimony of the love of Christ. Second, the Bunyaga Church construction is well underway with the bamboo poles in place and metal roofing and siding scheduled to be installed next week. Third, we sent the pastor funds to purchase an Airtel WIFI router so that he can access his online bible courses through thirdmill.org, a free resource for indigenous pastors who are unable to attend bible college or seminary. Finally, many former Muslims in the Buyego village are coming to Christ and being baptized in Jesus’s name. Remember the words the Lord spoke to Jonah when he was sent to the Ninevites; “should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left.” The Nubians have never heard of the gospel of Christ, they don’t know their right hand from their left. They have not heard that there is one true God over us all who created and sustains us, that we have all sinned against this holy and righteous God, that Jesus willingly came and paid the price for our sins, and that everyone who turns from their sinful lives and places their faith and trust in Jesus will be saved. Please pray that revival will come to this town in central Uganda.
